Welcome!
Peopletech is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit. Our missions include: Research, Analysis and Suggestions or what we call: Soul Utions.™
We are working on sustainable job creation initiatives in industries such as renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, wave, and biofuels); energy storage and transmission technologies; reclamation of CO2 ~ into energy; health and life sciences; nanotechnologies and desalination.
There is a very great need for a strong, robust middle-class. Those that have economic power now should understand this basic concept and build on it. Those that are sitting on vast amounts of wealth should create Private-Public Banks that will be transparent and accountable to the people, not just those global accounting giants that approved of corruption and greed.
Initiatives to get people working on our infrastructures should be paramount. Projects like those of FDR should be started up in communities across our country paid for by bonds collected by these banks for the sole purpose of creating decent-paying jobs and benefits.
Additionally we seek the re-education and protection of the "American Consumer". This includes the education and knowledge of consumer responsibilities; superior safety of all consumer goods and products; input and continuous improvement in "Real Quality", concepts that are in the theories and practices of people such as Drs.Shewhart, Deming, Juran and others like them.
Look at "The Deming System of Profound Knowledge" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W._Edwards_Deming) and his "14 Points", which are actually key principles for productivity. These "14 Points are to "advance commerce, prosperity, and peace:
1. Create constancy of purpose toward improvement of product and service, with the aim to become competitive and stay in business, and to provide jobs.
2. Adopt the new philosophy. We are in a new economic age. Western management must awaken to the challenge, must learn their responsibilities, and take on leadership for change.
3. Cease dependence on inspection to achieve quality. Eliminate the need for massive inspection by building quality into the product in the first place.
4. End the practice of awarding business on the basis of price tag.
5. Improve constantly and forever the system of production and service, to improve quality and productivity, and thus constantly decrease costs.
But not at the expense of jobs. We should work toward having unemployment under 1%, not the 6-8% deemed "necessary".
6. Institute training on the job.
7. Institute leadership. The aim of supervision should be to help people and machines and gadgets to do a better job. Supervision of management is in need of overhaul, as well as supervision of production workers.
8. Drive out fear, so that everyone may work effectively for the company.
9. Break down barriers between departments. People in research, design, sales, and production must work as a team, to foresee problems of production and in use that may be encountered with the product or service.
10. Eliminate slogans, exhortations, and targets for the work force asking for zero defects and new levels of productivity. Such exhortations only create adversarial relationships, as the bulk of the causes of low quality and low productivity belong to the system and thus lie beyond the power of the work force.
11. a. Eliminate work standards (quotas) on the factory floor. Substitute leadership.
b. Eliminate management by objective. Eliminate management by numbers, numerical goals. Substitute leadership.
12. a. Remove barriers that rob the hourly worker of his right to pride of workmanship. The responsibility of supervisors must be changed from sheer numbers to quality.
b. Remove barriers that rob people in management and in engineering of their right to pride of workmanship. This means, abolishment of the annual or merit rating and of management by objective.
13. Institute a vigorous program of education and self-improvement.
14. Put everybody in the company to work to accomplish the transformation. The transformation is everybody's job."
We look to strengthen existing consumer laws, rules and regulations and if necessary, create new legislation that will further the concept of equal consumer rights in all agreements, contracts, and general business transactions.
Serious problems continue to exist in our "Fundamental Foundations": political, socio-economic, spiritual... We seek a continuous dialogue among what we call the "Four Pillars" of our "Fundamental Foundations", they are (in no particular order): private industry, governmental agencies, other 501(c)(3) nonprofits and faith-based ministries.
As American consumers, we must take the responsibility given us and utilize any and all resources to change what might be termed our "business-as-usual" economic philosophy that has caused our current economic situation and continues to include forms of CORRUPTION and mismanagement. We need to put our financial system in a more democratic posture.
Economic Democracy is a fundamental necessity in a government by and for the people.
Let us learn from our past mistakes and progress forward; we have the capacity to create something very special that will let Americans realize their potential and work towards our country becoming a Beacon of Integrity, Justice, and Peace for all Humankind.
Please choose wisely; We need to do this work together; United in our beliefs, strengths, compassion, knowledge and faith.
“NOW Is The Time To Form a More Perfect Union!”
